GIVE THANKS :)

November flew right past us.  The kids were busy with school and sporting activities, church activities, and just being kids.  Alex was busy finishing up a big backstop remodel project for the Mt Spokane baseball field and starting up the basketball season at the high school.  The Schuerman Limo Service (AKA MOM) was going great guns too :)

I can do it all by myself
Quincy enjoyed her special time while the big kids are at school by hanging
out with  Kendall and doing craft projects

Rece had an eventful month with a little plastic surgery to fix a
trampoline lip injury from a few summers ago.  He did so incredibly well .
I was a little afraid we were not going to be able to take him home from the
hospital  though....he had charmed all the nurses with his
dimples and they all wanted to take him home.

Alex and my brother Keith played on a soccer team with some friends.
Alex had not played since he was like 12 and only agreed to play
since they needed a goalie...but unfortunately for him the injured goalie
was ready to go by the first game.  So yes he had to actually run!
He ended up having a
blast.

We enjoyed a fun and relaxing  and BIG Thanksgiving day  We had
most of our family in town, so we got to have 2 celebrations, one at
Alex's parents
and one at Kelli's brother and sister-in-laws.  Both were nice and relaxing..
.filled with family, great food, relaxation,
and legos and crafts too.  Sorry no pics of the planning sessions
pouring over the newspaper to get the Black Friday schedule in place

Can I Just Say....I LOVE FALL!!

I absolutely love fall days.  I am usually ready to put the shorts and swim suits away and change them out for long sleeves and scarves.  This fall was especially fun for Quincy as she finally got to see first hand some of the things she always has heard about from the big kids.  She is really enjoying pre-school, new friends, and of course less naps :)  She had her first pumpkin patch field trip AND daddy go to go too!!

We of course spent an afternoon at the pumpkin patch as a family (and Kendall too).  We tried out some different farms which was fun.  However, thanks to the less nap thing for the big girl Quincy...we did have some melting down moments...and therefore not a ton of pics.  Oh the growing pains :)

The three big kids played in a 3 on 3 soccer tournament, but because this mama is a major wimp in the cold, there was limited pics...too busy huddled up under an umbrella, wrapped in blankets, hats and scarves.

Pumpkin carving is a must....

As is fun halloween costumes and parties.  I had quite the realization that Alli is growing up...as she and her friends are now making their own trick or treating plans.  What I no longer am in charge of our social life...what has happened.  She is such a great girl with a sweet spirit that I actually am enjoying watching this shift happen before my eyes.  Thank you Lord for such an awesome "NEON GIRL"

And I loved watching Jeter in action at his party.  As the games were winding down, his teacher had planned to start a fun halloween movie for them.  But instead they all got started with the string games.  Oh gosh what great memories it brought back.  They were too funny...they all kind of grouped up and taught each other the different ones like jacobs ladder, witches broom stick...come on guys don't pretend you don't know what I am talking about :)
