SUMMER-ITIS

Wow how did I get so far behind...just enjoying the summer sun I guess.  So here it is...June 2012 at a glance.

Alli was busy with all kinds of sports and activities.  She had quite a few softball tournaments, a dance recital, soccer, a girl scout trip to seattle and of course hoopfest.  Her very first game at hoopfest was against the team of 4 of their best friends.  In Alli's sweet spirit she told me she wished they could tie...love that girl :)

Jeter spent most of his June playing baseball.  His Wildcat team took 2nd in the league and 2nd in the city tournament.  He then made the all-star team and continued to play thru July (more on that exciting adventure next month).  He also played in hoopfest again.  He loved watching all of Daddy's games too.

Although Rece had a fun month too as he got ready to be a big 2nd grader...really nothing can compare to his joy over losing his first tooth.  It was a LONG time coming.  He actually often cried at night just sure he was never going to lose a tooth.  It did not help that both Alli and Jeter had lost 4 or so in kindergarten and here he was almost ready to graduate from first grade with a full mouth of BABY teeth ugh!  But then it finally happened, in Dad's dugout no less (I am sure the high school audience was icing on the cake).  Here is the problem...once the first came out he was determined to add to the count...whether they were loose or not.  He pulled out another 2 within days and I ended up forbidding anymore "pulling teeth out"  I even threatened no more tooth fairy visits...that did the trick.  Look at that cute toothless grin :)

Quincy again had fun hanging out as the big kids were busy.  She has made some really great friends with the siblings of her big sis and bro's teammates.  That makes life much more fun.  She also had a wonderful birthday bash as she turned 4!  It is such a joy watching her grow into a fun loving pre-schooler.  She also had fun filled hoopfest weekend (filthy-dirty feet, naps right on the hot pavement and all) .  She took to coaching since she is too young to play (as you can see by her giving daddy a pre game pep talk)

Well as for Alex and I we keep busy with kids activities, hanging out with friends and family, work etc.

See you soon as we fly thru July:)

Just barely squeaking this one in

I am almost a  whole month behind but here it is...May was fast and furious and I feel like June is getting away just as quickly.  The bright side is that even though time is ticking at mock speed, it is leaving so many happy, fun and wonderful memories in its wake :)

Well I have decided to lay the blog out a little differently this month...instead of chronologically, you will see May thru the eyes of those busy little munchkins we know as the Schuerman kids.

So the BIG KIDS first...

Alli was busy as always with sports and school activities....and most important of all her big 10th birthday.  She had some music concerts and tried out track for the first time (of course in the rain)

Jeter spent much of May playing baseball of course.  I love the look of determination in his face in these pics... truly a very picture of his personality.  He also had fun with school activities such as beach day at school and loves DOTING on his little cousin :)

And now the little kids...

Rece enjoyed going to plays, playing baseball and soccer and...um being Rece.  Notice the sling shot he made and then sold to Mimi for 1 dollar...that is SOOO rece :)

And Quincy just tags along...usually even with a sweet attitude and participatory spirit...gotta love that girl!

See you all in a month (uh I guess a few days).  Wishing you all FUN IN THE SUN :)
